Author of mystery fiction and fantasy.
Loves to Write
I enjoy tinkering with the imagination and the magic of books. As a self proclaimed bookworm I also craft plots into novel and ink for fellow bookworms to turn the page. I take pen to paper to bring readers a world of fantasy and mystery.
Newsletter
I am happy to announce the Loves to Write Newsletter. Readers will receive bookish news, a free newsletter, and reader group's trivia. Thank you fellow bookworms for keeping that bookcase stocked with magical tales!
Readers may Subcribe to Substack, or some readers prefer to simply email me their email to join my email list. Both methods suffice to receive your first Bookish announcements.
Bookworm
Bookworms enjoy a good book with a mug of tea or coffe. There is nothing more pleasant than flipping the pages of your favorite novel and becoming immersed in the enchanting world of fiction. What bookworms don't always tell you is that there are essential things a reader needs when it comes to the wonderful hobby of collecting books. Especially for adding novels to the book collection for a rainy day. The following is an essential survival guide for the bookworm.
My Favorite Novels
One question I am regularly asked by readers is which is my favorite novel? I always answer that it is very difficult to choose only one. While I prefer mystery and the occasional fantasy novel, I do often read my favorites again. Here are a list of books I have often read more than once, in no specific order.
- Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
- A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.
- Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyers.
- Romeo and Juliet by Shakspeare.
- The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux.
- New Moon by Stephenie Meyers.
- The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde.
Masked Desire
The Phantom of the Opera has always been one of my favorite novels. It was a delight sharing fan art with readers and discussing the poetic passages of the fable. After some time I took pen to paper and created this four part serial with the characters Gaston Leroux created in the mysterious world of The Opera Garnier. Chatting on book groups with fellow readers about this tragic tale has truly been inspirational. Happy reading!
DIY Creations
Crafting book items and mystical trinkets has been a whole lof of fun. I prefer special themes that match the book collection and my favorite genre of fantasy. Here are a few magical and holiday inspired craft tutorials!
